Monetizing the Hate - Heather Armstrong of dooce made a blog that posts all the hate mail she gets, with a ton of ads everywhere. I support her efforts in trying to make money off all the mean people in the world. I endorse Heather Armstrong and dooce!
The Vampire Diaries - You all know of my love for everything Twilight- and Harry Potter-related, and this is in the same guilty pleasure vein. This show is absolutely fantastic. Beautiful people, sexual frustration, suspense, drama, people getting killed and jump-out-of-your-seat (or off your couch) scary scenes. Love. It.
Newaukee - My friends started this Milwaukee social group a while ago, and I have loved every single event they’ve thrown. It’s a twice-monthly social/drinking group, held every other Thursday at local watering holes or at certain events. If you’re looking to meet some new 20- and 30-something friends and like to drink in Milwaukee, come to the next event!
Milwaukee Brewing Company - This local beer is made at the Milwaukee Ale House, and I drank a lot of it this past weekend since they were a sponsor of the Newaukee Brewers tailgate event. I’m a huge fan of their Flaming Damsel, Pull Chain Pail Ale and another one I can’t seem to say, spell or find online.
Bally’s Total Fitness - I am a recent convert to this gym after going to LA Fitness for well over a year. My old gym was beautiful, spacious and expensive, but full of ghetto old people that stared at me while on the weight machines. Bally’s is full of young, fun, energetic beautiful people who all say hi to me and try to befriend me. I LOVE IT. I was there for an hour and a half yesterday, and I only left because my legs were shaking. And it’s way cheaper!
Las Vegas - I’m officially going in November with my mom for my birthday - I bought the tickets yesterday. :) I’ve never been, and I can’t wait! If anyone has any tips, tricks or must-sees, please e-mail me or leave a comment below.
