New favorite Trader Joe’s wine: Tres Pinos, a 2008 red from San Luis Obispo County. The label says it’s a “big, jammy wine that’s bursting with black cherry and raspberry flavors. Enjoy … with all your favorite pasta dishes, risottos, grilled meats and flavorful cheeses.”
I say: It was $4.99 (I think - no more than $7), it was smooth and I could have drank an entire bottle myself it was so delicious. It also had a really lovely acorn on the top of the cork.
Highly recommended.
