Stuff I Endorse Tuesday
The Avett Brothers - This band has slowly but surely become my favorite band, and I don’t throw around that “f” word lightly. These guys from North Carolina are so refreshing, so different and so full of heart that I can’t imagine my musical life without them anymore. Their folky, bluesy music fits into a few different genres, and I really think you would benefit from checking them out, especially their Emotionalism album.
Three Sheets - This Fine Living Network show is about a guy , Zane Lamprey, who travels around the world discovering how, what and where people drink in every city and country. Tonight I watched him learn the differences between drinks on the French and Dutch sides of St. Maarten. Next up are Chile, New Zealand and Tuscany.
Bill Rancic - New male crush. If you haven’t seen E!’s Giuliana and Bill show yet, I advise you to do so. Bill is so in love with Giuliana, and the pair are refreshing to watch. Instead of bickering at each other a la Jon and Kate, they actually work as a team, crack jokes, work out problems and go to bed smiling and laughing and talking at the end of every day. It’s a great reminder of why I’d rather stay single until I find my perfect best friend rather than waste my time with a person like Jon Gosselin. Or Spencer Pratt. Or anyone else remarkably douchey of the male sex.
Pumpkin Spice Hershey’s Kisses - Enough said.
