Christmas Creatures - mibostudio
“A simple print-and-make-at-home kit consisting of Robin, Polar Bear, Rudolf, Chris-mouse and Mr Partrdige. These little friends can be used to adorn your Christmas tree, as place-settings (decorative places name are included in the kit) or of course, they would make a splendid gift.”
I had the privilege of printing out a free 2009 mibo calendar last year, but unfortunately the company is charging for the PDFs this time around. I absolutely love their illustrations - one is even framed above my bed. They’re grown up, sophisticated, beautiful and playful all at once.

Some reminders for this holiday season. Not my favorite stretch of three months, but I’ll try to embrace it this year rather than be such a hater. Mark my words.

Stop What You’re Doing And Watch The Hell Out Of This of the Day: Clever French dude shows you how to open a bottle of wine when you’re sans corkscrew.

Quite probably the most useful, informative YouTube video ever.

This is the second time today this appeared on my dashboard, and it really is quite amazing. Good to know indeed.

!!! I can’t wait to try this.

QUOTE
“ I write fiction for the same reasons I read it: to amplify my own experience, to live vicariously through characters who get to do things I’ll never do and visit places I’ll never see. It’s become cliche, but I do think that the best fiction deepens our understanding of what it means to be human. ”

HELL YEAH, EAST SIDE! This is just a few blocks from my apartment, on Murray near the Jazz Estate. It’s been there for years. :) Welcome to a little piece of my ‘hood.
